Cannot Really Argue With This...

I found this comment on the Dig Tank blog today and it has a ring of truth to it.
“In my past, I had my ‘A-List’ clients, but continued to work with my ‘C-List’ clients in order to feed the overhead machine we were saddled with. The supposed strategy was to get enough A-List clients so we could fire the C-List clients and then the business would be fun.
Mistake.
I always regret not making the hard choice to make the overhead fit into a business filled with only the A-List clients. Not easy to do by any means... I definitely got there in the end, but like they say, education is expensive. Straddling the fence until the future arrives simply doesn't work.”

Digital Lifestyle Aggregation

Now this is an idea that we could see more of in 2005. Digital Lifestyle Aggregation I could definitely do with some more efficient way of interfacing with and managing all of those ‘data silos’.

(And an easier way to manage images online too, given that I foresee a major increase in digital photography output with the arrival of The Tribble sometime in July...)
